Reader Comments Guidelines
Comments can help shoppers—real-world compatibility tips, respectful disagreement, and corrections we missed; serious fixes follow accuracy and corrections. They can also become spam, astroturf, or harassment. These rules keep discussion useful.
Moderation is not endorsement; staff behavior is covered in our Code of Conduct. A visible comment does not mean Option Cutter vouches for it.
What we remove
Affiliate spam, counterfeit promotion, threats, slurs, doxxing, repetitive advocacy unrelated to the article, and impersonation of Option Cutter staff or brands.
What we allow
Critical feedback about our work, including mistakes—those belong in comments and our corrections inbox. Competing product recommendations are fine when good-faith and on-topic.
Health and safety comments
We remove medical advice and dangerous DIY instructions. Wearable and health-adjacent threads are moderated more tightly.
Appeals
Contact us if you believe a comment was removed in error. We may restore comments that meet these guidelines.
