Content Egg Assistant Actions Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how OptionCutter handles information sent through the Content Egg Assistant and Content Egg Assistant — Presets custom GPT Actions available through ChatGPT.
Information Processed
When you use an Action provided by the Content Egg Assistant, information necessary to perform the requested action may be sent from ChatGPT to OptionCutter’s WordPress website and Content Egg integration.
This information may include:
- Product search terms and product identifiers
- WordPress post or product IDs
- Content Egg module names and configuration requests
- Import Preset IDs, names, templates, settings, and related configuration
- Product, coupon, image, and video search requests
- Content or block data required to create, validate, preview, or update a WordPress post or product
- Other parameters specifically required to complete an Action requested by the user
Only information required to perform the requested Action is intended to be processed.
ChatGPT Conversations
OptionCutter does not receive an entire ChatGPT conversation merely because you use this GPT.
Information is sent to OptionCutter when ChatGPT invokes one of the configured Actions, and only the data included in that Action request is processed by the OptionCutter server.
ChatGPT and OpenAI separately process information according to OpenAI’s applicable terms and privacy policies.
How Information Is Used
Information received through the Actions is used to:
- Search and retrieve Content Egg product data
- Create and manage WordPress or WooCommerce product content
- Read and manage Content Egg Import Presets
- Validate Content Egg blocks, templates, and shortcodes
- Search for products, coupons, images, and videos
- Perform Content Egg and WordPress operations specifically requested by the user
- Diagnose errors and maintain the integration
- Protect the website and integration from abuse or unauthorized access
Information received through these Actions is not sold to advertisers.
Authentication and Security
Access to protected Action endpoints requires authorization.
Authentication credentials are used to authorize requests to the OptionCutter WordPress installation. Credentials are not intentionally returned in Action responses.
The Content Egg Assistant integration also applies WordPress permissions and other validation controls before performing protected operations.
Server Logs
Like most websites and APIs, the OptionCutter server or hosting provider may create technical logs containing information such as request timestamps, IP addresses, requested endpoints, HTTP status codes, and error information.
These logs may be used for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and system maintenance.
Content Egg and Third-Party Services
Some Actions may communicate with third-party services configured through Content Egg, including affiliate networks, product providers, search services, media providers, or AI providers.
When an Action requires one of these services, information necessary to perform that request may be transmitted to that provider.
Those providers process information according to their respective terms and privacy policies.
Data Retention
Action data is retained only as necessary to operate the WordPress website, Content Egg integration, WooCommerce products, Import Presets, troubleshooting systems, and related services.
Information intentionally saved as WordPress content, WooCommerce product data, Content Egg data, or Import Preset configuration may remain stored until it is edited or deleted by an authorized administrator.
Technical server logs may be retained according to the security and logging policies of the site’s hosting infrastructure.
Data Sharing
OptionCutter does not sell personal information received through these Actions.
Information may be shared with service providers only when necessary to operate the website or complete a requested Action, including hosting providers, Content Egg-integrated services, affiliate networks, AI providers, and other infrastructure providers.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.
User Control
Users control which Actions they request through the Content Egg Assistant.
Actions capable of modifying WordPress, WooCommerce, Content Egg, or Import Preset information should only be used by authorized users.
Users may request that stored WordPress or Content Egg information under their control be reviewed, modified, or removed using the site’s normal administrative tools.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the Content Egg Assistant, its Actions, or the services it connects to change.
The current version will be published at this page with an updated revision date.
